Pressing Instructions
- Carefully line up transfer in desired location for proper placement on garment.
- Heat resistant tape isn't necessary on flat heat presses but can be used if desired. Recommended to be used when pressing transfers onto hats or when using irons, to keep the transfer in place.
- Fabrics:
Cotton: 310 degrees F.
Polyester: 260 degrees F.
-Medium Pressure
- No need to Pre-Press or Pre-Iron, only if you desire.
- Press once for 12 seconds, wait 15 seconds for cooling.
- Lift transfer from one corner and gently peel back. Look to ensure every piece of your design has adhered as you lift. If not, stop peeling, lay it back down and troubleshoot:
(i) if some or all of the transfer does not transfer and it was cool, re-press and apply more pressure in +5-10 incriments.
(ii) if it still doesn't work, add more time and pressure until transfer peels properly. Be cautious of damage to garment with continuous applying of heat.
-After cool-down, and once transfer paper has been removed, re-press for 5 seconds with teflon sheet for softer feel.
